Litoproof Extreme MEMBRANE IN ROLLS FOR UNDER-TILE WATERPROOFING. FOR INTERIORS AND EXTERIORS. ZHERORISK TECHNOLOGY OFFERS VERY LOW VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUND EMISSION RATE. Litoproof Extreme is a waterproofing membrane in rolls consisting in two outer layers of non-woven polypropylene heat-sealed to one inner layer of polyethylene, which guarantees the total waterproofing of surfaces. ADVANTAGES / FEATURES • Product exhibiths Very low volatile organic compound (VOC). Complies with the most stringent Global Air Quality Regulations. • Complies with the requirements of standard EN 13956 regarding plastic membranes for the waterproofing of coverings • Guarantees utmost reliability of waterproofing by means of its consistent thickness • Retains its elasticity even at very low temperatures (- 22°F) • Perfect for repairs to existing waterproofing on balconies and terraces insofar as the product can be overlaid on existing ceramic and porcelain or natural stone floors, thus avoiding radical and costly demolitions • High elasticity and waterproofing • Easy and quick to install. The centimeter (inch) markings along the edges allow the rolls to be perfectly aligned • The white color offers good solar reflectance, preventing the surface from overheating before the installation of ceramics during warm and sunny periods 10 and 30 m2 (10.9 and 32.8yd) rolls (roll width = 1 m (1.09yd)) Intended uses Interiors and exteriors Floors and walls Underfloor heating Indoor wet areas (bathrooms, shower enclosures) Overlaying Terraces and balconies Residential, public, commercial building Industrial flooring Tanks, swimming pools, fountains SPAS and Saunas WATERPROOFING PLANNING The only way to guarantee the long-lasting performance of ceramic and porcelain tile installations is to properly plan the process. It is therefore advisable to consult the national regulations in force in each country, for example standard UNI 11493 in Italy, which provides all necessary instructions regarding the choice of materials, correct planning, use and installation, so as to ensure all quality, performance and durability standards are safely met. When installing large tiles or low thickness laminated porcelain stoneware slabs, we recommend paragraphs 7.13.8 and 7.13.9 of regulation UNI 11493 be carefully read. Moreover, certain producers of thin slabs provide installation Waterproofing systems Suitable substrates: Cement screeds Self-levelers Cement levelers Existing tiles Existing agglomerates Underfloor heating systems Concrete Gypsum Fiber cement slabs Gypsum-based plasters Aerated concrete Cement plasters Insulating panels Lightweight panels Marine-grade plywood panels Wood panels, type CTBH

Some of the general precautions that need to be followed are listed below as an example. Substrates Before installation, check that substrates are clean, free of loose fragments, properly dried and cured, flat and level, and that mechanical strength requirements based on the intended use have been met. Before application, use a hygrometer to check that the residual humidity in the substrate is maximum 3% CM; on anhydrite screeds maximum 0.5% CM; on anhydrite screeds...

The sheets must be laid next to each other. Use the centimeter (inch) markings on the edges for correct positioning. After installation, immediately protect the surface of the membrane against frequent traffic and direct...

After applying the Litoband Koll adhesive, apply the Litoband SK Pipes Collar gaskets and apply firm pressure with a smooth round-edged steel trowel to avoid the formation of air bubbles or folds. Floor drains must be sealed with the Litoband SK Self-Adhesive Drains Collar sheet in self-adhesive butyl, bonded directly to the Litoproof Extreme sheet after creating a hole in the middle with the same diameter as the drain, using a cutter.
