The substrates must be clean, solid, compact, crack-free, properly cured and without rising damp. It is recommended to pre-clean the surface with a vacuum cleaner having a suitably sized spout. The diameter of the Litogap tubing must be a few millimeters (fraction of an inch) wider than the width of the joint. The Litogap tubing with suitable diameter is inserted in the joint, applying slight pressure until it reaches the envisaged depth (normally flush with the surface of the substrate). The joint will subsequently be filled with the appropriate elastomeric sealant chosen from the Litokol range. • The size of the joints is defined according to the intended use of the tiled surface, its location and intended movements • The tubing in Litogap must always have a diameter a few millimeters (fraction of an inch) wider than the joint • Do not use the product for applications not stated in this technical sheet • If in doubt, contact the Litokol S.p.A Technical Help Service.
