
Litoclean ACID DESCALER DETERGENT FOR USE ON CERAMIC COVERINGS. Organic acid-based concentrated cleaner in powder form. The product produces a descaling effect similar to that of strong acids (muriatic, hydrochloric, Sulfuric) with the advantage that it doesn’t generate any toxic or harmful fumes. Moreover, the product is formulated with latest generation surfactants able to dissolve all types of residue left by cementitious grouts. • Fairly non-aggressive on cementitious grouts. Does not alter the color of the joints • Very effective on grease reside post-installation 2.2lb (1 kg) buckets (boxes with 24 buckets) Suitable for the cleaning of interior and exterior ceramic walls and floors to remove: • Cement or limescale stains • Adhesive or cementitious grout residue, even colored • Lime efflorescence in joints Also suitable for the removal of lime and saltpetre efflorescence from cement plaster and concrete. Wet the surface to be treated with clean water, saturating the cementitious joints. Spread the product evenly on the surface, letting it work for about 5 minutes. Clean the surface using a trowel with felts or an abrasive sponge, removing any build-up. Collect the acid solution from the floor using a sponge or rubber squeegee broom and rinse with plenty of clean water. In the case of persistent build-up or efflorescence, repeat the operation. In the case of coverings, dissolve the product in water beforehand at a concentration of about 10%. • In the case of grouted floors, it is advisable to wait at least 7 days after sealing before washing • Porous surfaces such as Tuscan terracotta, cement plasters, concrete, must be wet with water until saturation before the treatment • Before use, protect doors, windows, rubber gaskets, furniture, taps and fittings, metal or PVC profiles and all surfaces that may be damaged by direct contact with the detergents • Do not use the product to clean surfaces in marble, Travertine, recomposed stone, limestone in general and cement agglomerates • Do not use the product on non-acid-resistant ceramics • Perform a spot test on a non-visible area if unfamiliar with the material or if in doubt regarding its chemical resistance • Wear protective clothing during handling (rubber gloves, mask and goggles).
