Litoband SK Pipes Collar SPECIAL GASKETS FOR PERFECT SEALING OF PIPEWORK FOR INTERIORS AND EXTERIORS. Special gaskets for pipework made from a non-woven fabric with a flexible membrane at the center for superior sealing. Waterproofing system with Elastocem, Coverflex, Hidroflex and Aquamaster elastic liquid membranes For the sealing of floor and wall pipework, install the Litoband SK Pipes Collar accessories in a suitable diameter on a fresh layer of waterproofing membrane. Apply the liquid membrane with a brush, roller or trowel on the pipework, spotlights or through-elements to be sealed with the special Litoband SK Pipes Collar gaskets on the fresh layer of membrane. Apply firm pressure to avoid the formation of air bubbles and folds. Apply a layer of liquid membrane with a brush, roller or trowel on the corners, pipework, drains and junctions between the sheets so that all Litoband SK accessories are embedded. The liquid membrane must cover an area a few centimeters (inches) larger than that of the accessories. The first coat of the waterproof membrane can then be applied on the entire surface. In any case, the respective technical data sheets must be consulted for correct use of the indicated products. Waterproofing system with Litoproof Plus or Litoproof Extreme membranes in rolls Near drains and pipework, cut out the Litoproof sheeting with the necessary diameter. In the presence of pipework, drains, spotlights, etc., lay the special Litoband SK Pipes Collar and Litoband SK SelfAdhesive Drains Collar pieces. For the sealing of pipework, install the Litoband SK Pipes Collar accessories in a suitable diameter. Fix the Litoband SK Pipes Collar gaskets to the Litoproof membrane with the MS-polymer-based hybrid adhesive, Litosil MS, applied with a 2 mm (0.079in) notched trowel. After applying the Litosil MS adhesive, lightly spray the surface with water for rapid cross-linking and lay the Litoband SK Pipes Collar gaskets, applying firm pressure with a smooth round-edged steel trowel to avoid the formation of air bubbles or folds. Alternatively: Fix the Litoband SK Pipes Collar gaskets to the Litoproof Extreme membrane with the Litoband Koll adhesive applied with a 3.5 mm (0.14in) notched trowel. After applying the Litoband Koll adhesive, apply the Litoband SK Pipes Collar gaskets and apply firm pressure with a smooth round-edged steel trowel to avoid the formation of air bubbles or folds. Floor drains must be sealed with the Litoband SK Self-Adhesive Drains Collar sheet in self-adhesive butyl, bonded directly to the Litoproof Extreme sheet after creating a hole in the middle with the same diameter as the drain, using a cutter.
