BattiSpazio is an essential finishing element for floors and walls decorated with Spaziocontinuo®. Protecting the walls is in fact just one of the functions of a skirting board, which also has the important task of hiding natural localised blemishes in the junction between the wall and floor. The only case in which its use can be avoided is when wall-to-floor continuity is created. When choosing the BattiSpazio colour, certain consolidated selection criteria in interior design should be noted: • Matching BattiSpazio with the floor. This first type is a great classic. The band that will be placed along the bottom of the walls is the natural continuation of the floor • Matching BattiSpazio with the walls. Finishing element for all SpazioContinuo® decorative systems. The substrates must be clean, dry, solid, compact, properly cured and without rising damp. Remove any resin residue or other material (masonry or painting residue, sagging, swelling, etc.) making the substrate irregular. Before mounting BattiSpazio, we recommend laying them in position to identify any imperfections that might complicate mounting operations. To create a true work of art, after taking the necessary measurements with a tape measure and pencil, cut the end of each bar at a 45° angle; the 45° cut must be made in opposite directions for each pair of skirting boards that will be joined.
