3 Fire at the centre I prefer to make a fire outdoors. First a good walk in the woods, and then doing my own cooking on a wood fire. Or spending the evening together around the campfire. Magnificent! What all this has to do with my stoves? I think because in my perception of things fire has such a central place, my fire places have a discreet and elegant design. 7 Pharos Interior - 363/366 P h a r o s I n t e r i o r is an object suspended in space. Fixed to the ceiling, it floats freely in the room. Its slender and natural shape is modest, yet expressive. As it can be turned, it is possible to have the view of the open fire from any angle of the room. Its simplicity notwithstanding, the Pharos Interior is a technical work of art: The combination of steel, stainless steel, cast aluminium and ceramic material make this sculpture a high-tech open-fire stove. 10 Doran is very special: a column stove, clear and unpretentious in shape with an elegant silhouette. Smooth surfaces, the soft rounding of the front and the spacious combustion chamber with the curved glass window emanate quiet and warmth. The high combustion chamber affords a great view of the total height of the fire. Doran is surprising in that the combustion chamber is 45° rotatable to either side, thus transforming the wood stove into a cubist work of art. See page 56 for the possibilities of this stove. 15 Cylon - 361 Cylon is a slender and dynamic cylinder-shaped wood burning stove. Its large vertical window opens up a spectacular view of the whole fire. The elegant and modest Cylon is also suitable for heating smaller areas. In addition, the stove can be turned so that one can always determine where its radiant heat is to be spread in the room. And so ensure an optimal atmosphere! More information on page 56.

18 F u g a M The majestic Fuga M is the flagship of Harrie Leenders. Ever since its introduction more than 15 years ago, this high-power stove designed for rooms of 60 sq.m. and over has been continuously further developed. 22 Fuga eL - 369 Fuga eL is the elegant and slimline model of the Fuga series. It presents itself as a stylish piece of furniture. Its subdued, yet clear design is the successful synthesis of exceptional details and balanced proportions. Like for instance the large window that seamlessly fits into the slightly curved casing. Door opener and air control slide blend in discreetly with the stove so as not to disturb the Fuga eL’s perfection. In fact, the Fuga eL constitutes an accomplished high-tech product. 27 Fuga S - 362 F u g a S is the smallest version of the Fuga series. It combines ingeniously thought-out technology with a smaller size so that it can also be installed in small rooms. Its individualistic design has all the marks typical of Harrie Leenders. The details on the top and heat fins on the side impart to the Fuga S a technical character. More information on page 56.

30 Signa - 363 S i g n a is a puristic wood stove with a striking feature: the concave front which due to the slight curving draws the view towards the fire. This feature has a double effect: As soon as the fire is burning, it commands its place even more as the centre of its surroundings. And the Signa withdraws as it were imperceptibly from the room. 33 Stor - 363 S t o r is a bold stove inspired by the style of industrial construction from around 1900. Its shape, rounded back with riveted fins, thick steel and ingeniously thought-out combustion technique constitute the successful synthesis of the historical past and the present. The powerful Stor which is provided with a large combustion chamber and can be turned up to 360° emanates plenty of radiant and convection heat. The solid door has a special grip made of olive wood; from Harrie’s own garden! Look for more details on page 56.

34 H a r r i e & M a r g r i e t L e e n d e r s Harrie Leenders is passionate about fire. A passion that runs like a thread through his life. And there is a reason for it. Harrie was raised on a farm where wood fire played a central role. All Leenders children were given a task, and little Harrie was responsible for the fire. It turned out to be the source of his later profession. In 1979, he started with his wife Margriet the stove factory called “Harrie Leenders Haardkachels”. 39 D i a wood stove is straightforward and minimalist. Its shape, system for easily turning the stove and burning effectiveness make it a refined stove in every respect. 41 Canta - 361 C a n t a is a stove for devotees: individualistic, compact and marked by refined technology. With a spectacular glass window and the perspective of the combustion chamber making the fire the actor of its one-man show. The proportions, too, of the Canta are quite exceptional: wider than the enormous Fuga M but not so deep as any of Harrie Leenders models. For more options see page 56.

44 Trias - 363 Trias nicely conforms to your interior. You determine yourself where the largest view of the fire is going to be: on the right or left side.
