SunScreens are being designed into many modern buildings. Used in conjunction with thermal glazing systems and new technology glass, heat build up can be minimized during the summer months. Proper design will not interfere with opportunistic use of lower energy winter sun value.

LEED HIMMEL has developed an assortment of custom designed aluminum extrusion dies and components which offer a variety of looks and function. Many types of finishes are available, all done in our facility. Flouropolymer and Superdurable Polyester Powder coatings are offered in a wide selection of gloss and color. LEED HIMMEL is also an approved applicator of P.P.G., Valspar and Akzo Nobel PVDF coatings. Additionally, we have in-house computerized color matching systems for both P.P.G. and Valspar. Anodizing, another finish option, is also done in our shop.

Our engineering department can take your drawings and design extrusion dies which incorporate your concept and allow for proper strength and assembly.
