Design and History: Originally designed in 1940 by Flemming Lassen and crafted by Master carpenter Jakob Kjær, Ingeborg is named after the Lassen brothers' mother, Ingeborg Winding. Flemming Lassen's Design Philosophy: Flemming Lassen was known for his dedication to craftsmanship and a soft, naive style. His iconic pieces include "The Tired Man" armchair and the "Vilhelm" sofa. His designs are characterized by open wings, combining functionality with a sculptural aesthetic, embodying true functionalism.
