Double-wall heating in DHW tank water heaters is one of the most effective systems known. • It guarantees an even temperature distribution of the hot water stored, making full use of the DHW storage volume. • The storage tank water heater has no cold zones, making it the best-performing system to prevent risks such as legionella. • It allows electric heating elements to be installed in the cavity between the storage tank water heater and the primary circuit casing, avoiding the possibility of heating element breakage due to lime incrustations or corrosion, as well as lowering interventions and replacement costs. • Its large exchange surface – the total surface area of the storage tank water heater, means that the system is particularly effective for heating with low exchange temperatures as is the case of solar collectors or heat pumps. • The storage tank water heater has a self-cleaning effect, removing any lime incrustations from its walls thanks to the constant axial movement that occurs during operation. • Greater guarantee of useful life compared to conventional heating systems that employ exchangers since it is the tank water heater itself that acts as the system’s heat exchanger. Model S, TS The “S” model matches the general description of this series, also incorporating a thermometer to measure the temperature of the DHW, inserted in the top cover. The “TS” model, which is a version of the “S” model, is specifically designed for horizontal installation on the floor or for a boiler. This model is available in 150 and 200 litre capacities. Apart from a thermometer, it includes a regulation thermostat as a standard feature. Models “S” and “TS” are not available for electric water heating. Model D Model “D” includes a side hole and control panel, totally wired-up, with a thermometer, double temperature regulation and safety thermostat, wintersummer switch and ON indicators, (night tariff programming clock – optional), for the optional incorporation of an indirect electric heating resistance (see Power table). The electric resistance is inserted through the side hole in the primary heating circuit, thus avoiding scale deposits and/or corrosion. Model DEC This model is basically as model “D”, but with heating element incorporated as a standard feature (see power table), mounted and wired to control panel. The system is ready for operation without any further intervention of the fitter. STAINLESS STEEL Double-walled tanks for DHW production and storage. Made of austenitic stainless steel AISI-316L, with St. 37-2, DIN 17100 steel casing, as an indirect heating system (boiler, solar panel, electric resistance, etc.) Capacities: 60, 100,150,200,300 and 500 litres. They are designed for vertical or horizontal installation. Models of 60, 100 and 150 litres are also apt for wall installation. All of the models are thermally insulated with rigid, mould-injected, CFC-free polyurethane foam with removable padded polypropylene and collapsible lining in white RAL 9016 with covers in grey RAL 7021.
