THE ULTIMATE YARN COMBINATION_ Profoot MXS is the latest two-tone duo monofilament artificial turf system from Lano Sports. Combining two different yarn shapes, one diamond and one rectangular, offers the client exclusive benefits (please see below). However, the two yarns also share common characteristics. First of all, they are both monofilament yarns and secondly they are both made from polyethylene. Monofilament yarns are known for their durability as they are very dense, heavy yarns (up to 230/J). The benefits of polyethylene yarns are their softness and flexibility. - Dark green colour - Retains its upright position - Enables the field to play better for longer - Light green colour - Tips fold over to encapsulate the infill - Enables the field to retain its comfort underfoot The picture left shows that the dark green, diamond-shaped yarn supports the light green rectangular yarn, giving the MXS surface a super natural look. As the yarns stay upright, ball roll is all the more consistent. As the tips of the light green yarn fold over, the rubber infill doesn't splash up when the ball bounces on the surface.
