Lano Flooring Solutions, known for high-quality IMO certified carpets, has partnered with Pullmantur, a leading Spain-based cruise line, to supply woven axminster carpets for its fleet over the past six years.
Recently, Lano Flooring Solutions provided 15,000m2 of bespoke carpets for the Empress ship, covering areas such as the main atrium, alleyways, restaurants, casino, children's area, spa, gym, and staterooms. These carpets are designed to offer durability and comfort with a wool-rich blend.
A notable design is the carpet in the Schooner Piano Bar, featuring a nautical theme with a musical motif in rich gold and midnight blue, reflecting the area's use for evening entertainment.
Lano also supplied artificial grass for the outer decks of the Empress and collaborated with Pullmantur's marine operations director to create 12,500m2 of carpet designs for the Sovereign, a sister ship.
Lano Flooring Solutions is one of the first carpet manufacturers to invest in high-tech Van de Wiele axminster looms, enhancing their capability to supply high-performance carpets to the cruise market.
The Empress features 15,000m2 of bespoke IMO certified axminster carpets in various designs, showcasing Lano's design expertise and commitment to quality.
