KLP Pile Heads The KLP® Pile Head is the alternative to wooden foundation poles for piers and mooring posts. The KLP® Pile Head is a perfect maintenance free attachment to wooden poles, because no decay takes place at the interface between air and water. The combination of wood and plastic also results in a very rigid foundation pole and gives you a cost-conscious solution. KLP®, made from recycled plastics, is sustainable, will last several decades, does not rot or splinter, does not require maintenance and can simply be cleaned. KLP® products contribute to a cleaner environment: they are made from 100% recycled plastics and are not chemically treated in any way, therefore will not leach poisonous substances to the environment. KLP® has the appearance and usability of wood. It can easily be sawn, drilled, planed, nailed, stapled and screwed. The KLP® Pile Head is mounted and attached onto the timber pole using a steel bush. The timber pole is under water and the KLP® Pile Head is adjacent to the waterline. The KLP® Pile Head is available in both round as well as square version. The round KLP® Pile Head has a fixed diameter of 15 cm and is extremely suitable as a mooring post. The square KLP® Pile Head is round at the bottom and the top is square.
