Overview
Lang+Fulton offers purpose-designed MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area) fencing systems that incorporate unique safety features and provide even rebound for high-impact sports. These systems are known for their large panel sizes, exceptional strength, and durability, making them resistant to vandalism.

Suitability
The fencing systems are suitable for full ball courts, goal ends, or secure playground areas. They are designed to withstand high-impact sports like football, hockey, basketball, and cricket. The solid construction prevents shape loss or sagging, a common issue with welded wire mesh.

Features & Safety
The rigid grating panels offer a level inner surface for even rebound and are mounted flush to the posts. The design avoids finger traps and extrusions. Large panels provide a minimalistic appearance and can be stacked up to 8 meters high.

Durability
The fencing is made from heavy-duty grating material and 100x50mm RHS posts, offering outstanding durability and resistance to vandalism. The system is more robust than welded wire alternatives.

Optional Extras
Optional features include aiming goals, recessed goals, basketball hoops, and cranked top panels for improved ball retention. An anti-graffiti paint finish is available for vulnerable surfaces.

Gates
Custom-sized single-leaf and double-leaf gates are available, with optional self-closing devices. Safety features include stainless steel latches and drop bolts, recessed handles, and hinge designs that eliminate finger traps.

Manufacture & Finish
Fencing panels are made from mild steel using an advanced electrofusion process, resulting in strong grating. They are hot-dip galvanized and polyester powder coated for corrosion resistance and maintenance-free finish.

Fixings
Modular panels and adjustable plate fixings allow for quick installation. Stainless steel bolts with high-security snap-off nuts are used for secure panel-to-post fixing.

Technical Support & Supply
Lang+Fulton provides a full design service with over 30 years of experience. All components are supplied fully finished for direct installation by recommended contractors. The designs are approved by ROSPA.

Comparison: Grating vs. Wire Mesh
Grating fencing offers rigid steel panels, even rebound, good visibility, and outstanding vandalism resistance, unlike wire mesh which can sag, has poor visibility, and is prone to damage.
