In addition to its function as a stool Dexter can owing to its simple, graphical thread design be put together several in a row to form a bench. Dexter can also be used as a table or stacked on top of each other to create storage space in the form of a shelf. In 1965 Lammhults began their collaboration with Lindau & Lindekrantz. This, for its time, groundbreaking designer duo is considered as some of Sweden’s foremost furniture designers. At an early stage Lammhults saw the advantages of having tight and long-term collaborations with their designers. The focus of the design process for Campus was that the chair should work in larger numbers without in any way taking over the room or the architecture. The result was a small, both stackable and linkable, chair of steel tubing and veneered seat and back. In large quantities the waveshaped backs form an undulating ensemble.
