Marble-topped Tables

Marble-topped Tables

Product catalog summary
Marble-topped Tables

Material Specifications:
Lambert uses exclusively natural marble for their tables. The only treatment applied is polishing to enhance the stone's natural beauty and make it resistant to everyday dirt. While marble is weatherproof, it is not resistant to frost.

Origin:
Natural marble, millions of years old, is extracted globally using open-cast mining. Large blocks are extracted through blasting, drilling, and sawing, then transported to sawmills to be cut into slabs of varying thicknesses. Due to its natural origin, marble exhibits variations in structure and color, with open cracks and notches being inherent features that add to its charm.

Care Recommendations:
To protect the porous surface, a special wax is used for sealing. Immediate removal of stains from substances like red wine, tea, rust, and grease is crucial. If stains penetrate the marble, non-abrasive cleaning agents can be used, though they may not completely prevent staining.

Marble-topped Tables-1

Marble-topped Tables Lambert employs natural marble exclusively. The only treatment allowed is polishing of the surfaces to maintain the natural appeal and beauty of the stone and to make it insensitive to every-day soiling. Marble is weatherproof, but not frost-resistant. Origin The millions of years old natural stone is mined by the open-cast method almost all over the world. Large marble blocks are brought up out of the earth by means of blowing up, drilling and sawing, before they are transported to sawmills, where the marble is sawn to slabs of different thicknesses. Precisely because this stone is a natural material, there are variances in structure and colour within each sort of stone. "Open" cracks and notches constitute a natural result of the development of this natural stone. These are natural features of an archaic and environmentally friendly material giving this stone its charm and special appeal. Care Special wax helps seal the porous surface. But caution! Stains from red wine, tea, rust and grease must be removed instantly. In case the stain has already penetrated the marble, conventional, non-abrasive cleaning agents will help. However, please note that these are nothing but relief measures, which can possibly not avoid certain stains.
