Child safety The Kvadrat Roller Blind system has been certified by ift Rosenheim, a specialised testing institute, and meets the revised European standard EN 13120:2009. This covers the performance and safety requirements for internal blinds. Chain-operated versions of the system can be delivered with a child safety wall piece. This must be used wherever children may be present. To avoid any risk of strangulation, this must be fixed to the wall so the loop of the chain can be closed. Motorised versions of the system pose no risk to children.
