Product catalog summary
Description
Impermax Polyurea H Flex is a two-component polyurea resin that cures quickly into an elastic membrane with crack-bridging capabilities. It requires application via two-component spraying equipment and can be combined with geotextiles for seamless liners. It can also be pigmented for sun-reflective properties.
Applications
This product is suitable for waterproofing concrete structures, bridge decks, roofs, and geomembrane lining for various containment structures, ponds, landfills, tunnels, and dams.
Certifications
It has a fire test classification of B2 according to DIN 4102-1:1998 and holds a European Technical Assessment document (ETA) for CE marking.
Technical Data
  • Component A: Polyol/Polyamine, dark yellow liquid.
  • Component B: Aromatic isocyanate prepolymer, slightly yellow liquid.
  • Non-volatile content: Approximately 100%.
  • Mixing ratio: A=1, B=1.08 by weight; A=1, B=1 by volume.
  • Pot life: 8-9 seconds at 25ºC, 4-6 seconds at 60ºC.
  • Storage: Keep between 10ºC and 30ºC, protect from moisture.
Final Product Information
The final product is a solid elastomeric membrane with variable color depending on pigmentation. It has a hardness of 90A/40D, tear strength of 69 N/mm, and elongation at break of 400%.
Support Requirements
The substrate must be flat, compact, cohesive, even, clean, and dry. Any cracks must be repaired beforehand.
Environmental Conditions
Application should occur in temperatures between 10ºC and 40ºC with relative humidity below 85%.
Application Guidelines
Use two-component hot spraying equipment with recommended temperatures for components and hose. Ensure proper pressure and check layer thickness and curing speed during application.
Curing Time
The product cures to touch within minutes, with hardness increasing over time.
Re-application and Maintenance
Usually, a single coat is sufficient. Maintenance includes regular cleaning and checking for damages.
Safety and Environmental Precautions
Component B contains isocyanates; proper ventilation and protective gear are necessary. Empty containers should be treated as hazardous waste.
Other Information
The data sheet provides guidance based on experience but does not guarantee product performance. Installers are responsible for ensuring proper application and use.
