Railway vehicles generate rolling noises and vibrations during operation. This is due to roughness and imbalances on both the wheels and the rail running surfaces. Surface defects such as head checks, corrugations and slip waves on the rails are known to be among the most common sources of interference. DAMTEC® products for use on railways The quality capability of the supplier for the product range of sub ballast mats has been classified by the Deutsche Bahn AG as Q1. Our sub ballast mats comply with the technical delivery conditions DBTL 918071-01. DAMTEC® elements are tested according to DIN 45673-5, DAMTEC® SBM K 25/7 DIN 45673-7 and other national standards.

DAMTEC® products for track construction are made of high quality elastomer materials. With the exhaustively tested formulas, the products meet specific requirements associated with the stresses and strains in the track area. DAMTEC® is produced in rolls or sheets and can therefore be used as a point, strip or surface layer.
