Variable geometry diffuser – DGV-TR

Product catalog summary
Introduction
The DGV-TR diffuser is a thermally-driven, variable geometry diffuser that adjusts the position of an internal disc based on the temperature of the supply air. This adjustment occurs automatically without manual intervention or the use of an electric servomotor.

Specifications
The diffuser operates by expanding or contracting a thermal element in response to air temperature changes. When hot air is supplied, the disc moves upwards, resulting in a vertical air discharge. Conversely, when cold air is supplied, the disc moves downwards, creating a horizontal air discharge and achieving the Coanda effect when installed in ceilings.

Applications
The DGV-TR diffuser is suitable for various installations, including exposed ducts and ceiling integrations, and is effective at heights ranging from 4 to 15 meters. It prevents hot air stratification and controls residual air velocities in occupied areas when supplying cold air.

Technical Requirements
The minimum supply temperature for heating applications is 30ºC. The diffuser can be equipped with a side connection plenum and a regulation damper at the entry point.

Performance Data
Performance tables provide airflow rates (m3/h) at different sound pressure levels (dB(A)) for both vertical and horizontal configurations. For example, a size 250 vertical diffuser at 30 dB(A) provides 482 m3/h, while a horizontal diffuser of the same size provides 502 m3/h.

Variable geometry diffuser – DGV-TR-2
