The RVV casing is of circular shape with diameters from 100 to 400 mm, corresponding to the normalised diameters for circular ducts. The volume control damper, with its elliptical shape and sealing gasket in its entire periphery, and installed in the circular inlet, is the most adequate to obtain maximum linearity in damper actuation and a reduced sound level.
