Product catalog summary
Technical Specifications of KLIMOSZ DUO Boilers

Technical Data
The document details the technical specifications for KLIMOSZ DUO boilers, covering models NG15 – 45, B 15 – 35, and NG55 – 150. Key parameters include maximum and nominal power for pea coal and pellets, efficiency percentages, power regulation scope, fuel usage, storage bin volume, and flow of fumes. Classifications for pea coal and pellets, along with mass, heating area, water volume, and chimney draught, are provided. Recommended and maximal working temperatures, pressure levels, and noise levels are also specified.

Fuel Parameters and Recommendations
Recommended fuel types for automatic and manual modes are outlined, emphasizing the use of dry fuel with moisture content not exceeding 15% to ensure efficiency and longevity. Specific granulation sizes and calorific values for hard coal and biomass pellets are provided.

Construction and Operation
The boilers require periodic maintenance and feature a steel heat exchanger, combustion chamber, cast-iron grate, and air mixer. Installation requirements for different models, including suitability for closed or open systems, are detailed.

Boiler Dimensions
Dimensions for various models, including the combustion chamber and additional combustion chamber, are provided. Figures illustrate differences between KLIMOSZ DUO NG and B models.

Boiler Accessories
Standard accessories include manuals, screws, ceramic catalysts, protective plates, and emergency extinguishing tanks. Additional accessories for biomass fuel use are listed.

Installation of Boiler Console
Instructions for installing the console with a built-in controller emphasize easy access and proper connection to sensors and devices.

Installation of Fuel Bin and Catalyst
The installation of ceramic catalysts is described as essential for efficient combustion and preventing soot deposition, with warnings against operating the boiler without them.

Boiler Specifications and Dimensions
Details on the size of ceramic catalysts for models like Klimosz Duo 15, 25, 35, and 45 are provided.

Leak-Tightness of the Grate
Ensuring the grate's leak-tightness is crucial for complete fuel combustion. Signs of leakage and maintenance procedures involving sealing with high-temperature silicon and cleaning the mixer are outlined.

Hand-Firing Fuel in the Upper Combustion Chamber
Suitable fuels for hand-firing, such as wood with less than 20% moisture content, are described. Detailed lighting instructions and safety precautions are provided.

Boiler Operation
Guidelines for adding fuel, maintaining combustion, and safety precautions, such as avoiding hot gases, are highlighted.

Boiler Maintenance
Maintenance procedures include ash removal, cleaning when cooled, and addressing tarry deposits. Ensuring leak-tightness and proper ventilation when not in use is advised.

Safety and Efficiency Notes
The importance of avoiding tar and soot accumulation to maintain efficiency and prevent fire hazards is emphasized. Proper sealing to prevent flue gas leakage is also advised.

installed in a closed system. KLIMOSZ DUO 100 ÷ 150 and KLIMSOZ DUO B 15 - 35 boilers can be installed only in a open system. Next to the boiler, there is a fuel storage bin with a feeder screw at the bottom. The ash pan capacity is suited to the capacity of the fuel bin, i.e. the ash pan should be filled with ash after fuel from the bin – pea grade coal – has been burnt. There is a water tank behind the fuel bin for extinguishing the fuel bin in an emergency (when the boiler is fired with pea grade coal) or the connector for mounting a thermostatic valve (required when the boiler is fired with...

NOTE: The burner grate should be fixed such that a false draught should not leak out from under it. It should be fixed tightly, with no possibility of turning. Burner maintenance procedure: Remove the cast-iron ring to seal the grate. The grate surface on which sealing will be applied should be cleaned thoroughly to ensure good contact of the material with the sealing. The parts should be sealed with fireplace silicon with a working temperature of greater than 1200oC, which should be applied evenly around the grate perimeter. Put the grate with silicon slowly onto the other part of the burner....

• when burning in the upper chamber in the hand-firing mode, remove fuel from the retort in order to properly supply air for combustion. When burning is continued for more than two weeks, fuel should also be removed from the bin; • switch on the hand-firing mode – “hand firing” in the burning type options on the regulator. Put firelighter (paper) and wood through the charging door over the entire grate area. Light the firelighter through the door of the combustion chamber. Close the door and open slightly the ash pan door, providing air supply to the combustion chamber. Put a layer of fuel onto...
