Baking, Roasting, and Broiling

Cooking Guidelines:
  • Minimize oven door openings to maintain temperature.
  • Use cookie sheets without sides and roasting pans with lower sides for better air circulation.
  • Test baked goods for doneness before the minimum cooking time using a toothpick.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the doneness of meats and poultry.
Convection Bake:
  • The T.H.E.™ convection element and fan provide balanced heating.
  • Suitable for baking delicate cakes, pastries, and foods on multiple racks.
  • Stagger items on racks for even heat flow; extra cooking time may be needed if the oven is full.
  • Reduce recipe temperature by 25°F (14°C); cook time may also need reduction.
Convection Roast:
  • Used for roasting meats, poultry, and baking yeast breads and loaf cakes.
  • CleanBake™ and broil elements cycle to maintain temperature while the fan circulates hot air.
  • Reduce recipe temperature by 25°F (14°C); cook time may also need reduction.
Convection Broil:
  • Broil elements cycle to maintain temperature while the fan circulates hot air.
  • Preset temperature is 450°F (232°C), adjustable between 170°F and 500°F (77°C and 260°C).
Convect Full Meal:
  • Offers 11 preset cooking cycles with specific oven settings, temperatures, and cook times.
Easy Convect™ Conversion:
  • Automatically adjusts standard recipe temperatures and times for convection cooking.
Proofing Bread:
  • Activates yeast by proofing dough twice.
Temperature Probe:
