Storage & Installation Storage EchoPanel® sheets, Wave/Dune and Geometry Tile should be stored flat. Storage areas should be clean, dry, cool, and well ventilated. Protect panel faces from dirt and damage prior to installation. Cleaning Blot excess spills from material quickly. Wipe with a damp cloth. If stain persists, apply small quantities of carpet or upholstery shampoo solution with a damp cloth. Blot well with a clean cloth after each application of the solution. Warning, avoid excessive amounts of water. Note: Ensure adequate ventilation if the product is likely to be subject to excessive moisture. Installation Dune/Wave Tiles Tiles can be attached with nails or screws using the special clips and template included in each box of tiles. Tiles are interchangeable when a change in color or design is desired. EchoPanel® Geometry Tiles Tiles are self-adhered using peel and stick adhesive included on each tile. Each Geometry Tile has a directional finish - check tile orientation prior to installation. Carefully plan your installation to ensure correct grain orientation and ensure you have sufficient number of tiles for the project. Mark a centerline point using level horizontal and vertical guide lines at right angles. Ensure the surface area to which the tiles are going to be fixed is smooth, clean and free from dust or other contaminant. We recommend a test tile be used on the substrate prior to application of tiles to determine that the adhesive it suitable for the application. Peel off backing and stick on to substrate, using even pressure to ensure proper adhesion. EchoPanel® Acoustic Panels EchoPanel® 7mm/12mm panels can be cut using construction knife, CNC router, panel saw waterjet or laser cutter (CNC routing specs available). Waterjet may leave stain marks on lighter panels, while laser cutting is recommended for 7mm panels only. Laser cutting 12mm panels may lead to scorching. Panels can be adhered to surfaces with standard construction adhesives such as Liquid Nails. (NOTE: DO NOT USE PVA GLUE) Panels may also be screwed to underlying surfaces.
