System Requirements
The PHORS Tank requires a continuous power supply for the internal pump and chemical dosing. A control panel allows adjustment of chemical dose and volume based on daily needs and phosphate levels.

Chemical Treatment
The system uses liquid ferric chloride (40%) to treat phosphates. Chemical storage must be in a separate unit, with options for secure kiosks provided by Klargester.

Installation
The tank is installed below ground, in series with the AirFlow treatment plant, requiring a minimum fall of 50mm for gravity flow. The chemical storage and control panel should be within 3 meters of the tank's first manhole and need an electrical supply.

The PHORS Tank Solution

Process Description
Effluent from the AirFlow plant enters the PHORS Tank's first chamber, then is pumped to a second chamber where chemicals are added. Phosphates coagulate with solids, forming sludge that is periodically removed. Clarified effluent is discharged to designated areas.
