W i r e Wo r k s® Pa n e l S y s t e m It’s all in the works. • A new design appeal. • An unprecedented configurability. • A place for every wire and cable. WORKING FOR YOU
Open the catalog to page 1What Works? Style works. Breaking out of the cube works. Flexibility works. The design freedom works. Change works. The unexpected works. WireWorks. 3
Open the catalog to page 3Head-turning aesthetics. Innovative practicality. You are about to witness the marriage of head-turning design and real-world practicality. For the A&D community, it will usher in a new level of creative freedom — one that is built on an unprecedented array of tiles and textures, configurations and combinations. For facility managers, it will mean record-breaking efficiency—in a solution that can cut configuration and reconfiguration time. You won’t find an easier system to work with, or a more appealing system to work in. Because nothing works like WireWorks panel system. Tiles: Top,...
Open the catalog to page 5The best of what you’ve seen. The best of what you wished for. Think of all the panel systems you’ve seen. If you could pick the best characteristics of each, what would be on your list? Now think about the features you never see in a panel system, but wish you could. What are you looking at? You’re looking at the ability to run wiring anywhere in the panel, even along the sides of windows. Or the chance to add a panel in a new direction without having to dismantle existing panels. You’re seeing the step down walls. Integrated tables. And panel-hung surfaces. You’re finding private spaces...
Open the catalog to page 7What makes us work so well is a story of form and function. Outer Beauty. 8
Open the catalog to page 8Structural Flexibility. See the notches on the ends of these horizontal rails? They let you add or remove the rails without disturbing any cables or adjacent panels. Monolithic / Segmented Panels. Want a shorter panel in the middle of a run? Just lift off the top horizontal, and add trim instead. (You can move the cables to an adjacent panel by lifting and lowering the horizontals.) Whether you’re using monolithic tiles or segmented tiles, you can still use the same frame. (Just add or remove horizontals.) What do you do with leftover data cable? Every WireWorks panel has plenty of interior...
Open the catalog to page 10Interchangeable Window System. Stackable Panels / Doors. WireWorks gives you the flexibility to change any panel to full glass or any combination of heights (in six-inch increments from 30" to 84" high). If you want to change to a glass or open tile, you simply add or remove a horizontal. You won’t have to disturb any adjacent panels or cables in the panel. WireWorks stacking sections give you the freedom to create a private office with a door. They stack up to 12' high. Cables can be run vertically down the sides of every panel (even glass and open tiles), allowing horizontals to be added...
Open the catalog to page 11Off Module Panels / Storage. Easy Panel Connections. Need to add a panel in a different direction? You can do it without changing the corner connector, disturbing existing panels or disrupting any cables. Universal corner connectors help reduce inventory. The same SKU lets you construct 90º , 3-way and 4-way intersections. All WireWorks panels can be used as a spine wall and accommodate offmodule panel connectors. Corner trim is also universal. Two pieces of trim are used on a 90º corner and one piece is used on a 3-way. Spine wall tiles can easily be removed, because the off-module panels...
Open the catalog to page 12The Power of WireWorks. Forget about having to thread cables around corners. You can lay over 200 Cat 5 UTP cables into the guards and supports behind each acoustic or steel tile and around intersections. The Power From Above. Every base raceway accommodates at least 48 cables, to be laid in with no threading. To build a cable chase to the ceiling, simply add stacking stations. You can also lay cable in the top horizontal of every WireWorks panel. It accommodates 24 Cat 5 UTP cables. WireWorks panels can accommodate consolidation points and data hubs. Window sections reach all the way to...
Open the catalog to page 13Out-of-the-cube thinking. New ways of working. Here’s the dilemma. Management wants to fit more people and more productivity into the same limited amount of space. Yet, employees are crying out for a more interesting work area and an easier environment to work in. Welcome to our new 120º universe. The hexagonal “cubes” still measure a traditional 8' x 8' from point to point, yet they save square footage by eliminating the dead area in the corners of the traditional cubes. The result is a much more interesting space that’s also more functional—a place where everything is within reach, not...
Open the catalog to page 15A panel system. A private space. The wonder of WireWorks panels is that the same panel system can track your career all the way from cubicle to private office. With WireWorks panels, the system you use for call centers, teaming areas and training facilities also works for private offices, closeddoor meeting rooms and the boss’s suite. That closed door makes all the difference in the world. And behind it, you can create a world of warm wood grains and comfortable elegance. Add a modesty panel here or a bow-tie pull there, and you change the whole look and feel of your furnishings. The fact...
Open the catalog to page 17Stand alone. But work together. WireWorks panels stand alone. Its flexibility, configurability and design freedom are unrivaled. It lets you think zigzags or cubes, 120º or 180º, open plans or closed doors. Yet, one of the things that makes the WireWorks system so unique is its compatibility with other systems and furnishings. WireWorks panels coordinate with a wide range of KI product lines. It’s even compatible with furnishings that we haven’t designed yet. That’s because, as we go forward, almost everything we create at KI is engineered with an eye to current lines like WireWorks panel...

WireWorks tech panels go all the way to the floor and eliminate the need for base raceway doors. Parsec™ task lights are available for additional lighting.
