Product catalog summary
Product Overview: Biogel® No Limits® is an eco-friendly, structural flexible multi-purpose gel adhesive designed for bonding various materials on all substrates, suitable for extreme conditions. It is formulated with locally-sourced and recycled minerals, reducing environmental impact.
Specifications: The product complies with EN 12004 standards, classified as C2TE S1C. It is thixotropic, fluid, and highly deformable, ideal for large slabs. It has low VOC emissions and can be recycled as inert material.
Areas of Use: Suitable for a wide range of substrates including existing tiles, waterproofing products, heating systems, and various screeds. It can be used for ceramic tiles, natural stone, glass mosaics, and more, in both internal and external applications such as terraces, balconies, façades, swimming pools, and industrial settings.
Preparation and Application: Substrates must be level, cured, and free from dampness. Mix with clean water to achieve a smooth consistency. Ensure full adhesive coverage on the back of materials, especially for large or thin slabs. Create expansion joints as specified.
Performance: The adhesive demonstrates high shear and tensile adhesion, durability under various conditions, and minimal vertical slip. It operates effectively in temperatures from -40 °C to +90 °C.
Instructions for Use: Follow specific guidelines for special substrates like timber, metal, and PVC. Consult Kerakoll for specific applications involving natural stones or waterproofing products.
Technical Data: The adhesive has a pot life of 4 hours and an open time of 30 minutes at 23 °C. It is ready for light foot traffic in 2-3 days and heavy traffic in 3-7 days. Coverage is approximately 1.25 kg/m² per mm thickness.
Warnings: Do not use to correct substrate irregularities over 15 mm. Protect from direct rainfall for 24 hours post-application. Store in a dry environment, protected from humidity.
