Care and Maintenance
Regular maintenance is recommended to preserve the rug's shape and appearance. Vacuuming is the preferred cleaning method, as beating or shaking can damage the fibers. The rug may shed excess fibers initially, which can be managed by daily vacuuming. Hand-tufted linen rugs are sensitive to water, which can cause the yarn to untwist and stiffen.

Cleaning Advice
Professional cleaning is advised for all rugs. They should be washed flat with water and dried flat, with good ventilation to prevent shrinkage (expected at 3-5%).
