Product Specifications
The DOT ICON is a woven rug made from pure wool, designed by Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg at Kasthall Design Studio. The weft material is 100% wool, and the warp material is 100% linen. The rug has a total height of approximately 5 mm and a weight of about 2200 g/m². Suggested sizes range from 90x240 cm to 350x450 cm, with custom sizes available.

Care and Maintenance
Regular maintenance is recommended to extend the rug's lifespan. Light, single-color rugs require more frequent care than darker, patterned ones. Vacuuming is the preferred cleaning method, while beating or shaking the rug is discouraged. Professional cleaning using the extraction method is advised, with attention to water quantity and temperature. The rug should not be machine-washed or dry-cleaned.

Choosing a Rug
When selecting a rug, consider its characteristics, color, and design to match the intended space. For high-traffic areas like halls, choose a more durable and darker rug. Ensure the rug size accommodates furniture placement, such as allowing extra space around dining tables.

Additional Information
Dimensions may vary by up to 5% due to the materials and manufacturing process. Rugs should be placed on an underlay to prevent movement and extend their life. Backing is recommended for rugs wider than 200 cm or larger than six sqm.

The rug meets several environmental standards, including BREEAM and Green Label Plus. Kasthall emphasizes sustainability through a circular design approach, traceable supply chain, and local Swedish production.

Fire classification: Cfl-s1 (EN 13501-1). Wear classification: Class 33 (EN 1307) for commercial heavy use. Acoustics properties include sound absorption αw 0.15 and sound insulation of approximately 24 dB. Thermal resistance is 1.8 m² K/W (ISO 8302).

The DOT ICON features a discreet pattern with small dots, available in an exclusive color palette inspired by nature, including shades like Dusty Grey, Raw Umber, Silver Green, Blue Creek, and Burnt Terracotta.
