Achille Castiglioni's Wire Book Case
Originally designed in 1957 and perfected over the years, the Wire Book Case by Achille Castiglioni exemplifies his approach to design by stripping down to the essentials. The bookcase features shelves hung on knots in two cords fixed to a single wall point, supported by a satin-finish brass plate. It was first produced by Bernini in 1966 and relaunched by Karakter Copenhagen in 2016.
