Product catalog summary
Overview: The HRC 8 x 3 Premier is an energy-efficient heat recovery system designed for mechanical ventilation in en-suite bedrooms. It is SAP Appendix Q listed, ensuring compliance with energy efficiency standards.
System Functionality: The system continuously extracts air from the bathroom using fixed ductwork and grilles. A high-performance heat exchanger recovers heat from the extracted stale air and transfers it to incoming fresh air. The system boosts ventilation rates when the bathroom is in use for over two minutes, discharging air outside through a duct and grille.
Key Features:
  • High-efficiency heat exchanger
  • 100mm/125mm diameter spigots
  • EC fan technology
  • Drain sensors and condense tray assembly with built-in fall
  • Supplied fixing brackets
  • PCB assembly with sophisticated electronic control
  • Condense multifit adapter
  • Top or bottom opening versions
Compliance: The system is fully compliant with Part F of the Building Regulations.
Construction: The casing is made from aluminium/zinc-coated steel, with internal surfaces lined with flame-retardant acoustic foam for noise reduction.
Components: The system includes spigots, a heat exchanger, drain sensor, condense adapter, EC fans, and a PCB assembly.
Dimensions: The unit's dimensions are provided in multiple views (front, back, plan, and side) for installation reference.

Technical Information HRC 8 x 3 Premier Energy Efficient Heat Recovery SAP Appendix Q listed. Features High efficiency heat exchanger 100mm/125mm Ø spigots EC fan technology Drain sensors Condense tray assembly with built in fall Fixing brackets supplied PCB assembly with sophisticated electronic control Condense multifit adapter Top or bottom opening versions How the system works The HRC system provides mechanical ventilation to the en-suite bedroom. The unit is designed to provide continuous extraction from the bathroom via a system of fixed ductwork and grilles. Heat is recovered from the stale contaminated air drawn from the bathroom and uses a high performance heat exchanger recovering the heat and transferring it to temper the incoming fresh air. The ventilation rate will increase when the bathroom is being used for periods of time, in excess of 2 minutes and the unit switches to boost mode. The extracted air is then discharged to outside via a single duct and grille. The case is constructed in aluminium/zinc coated steel. Internal faces of the casing are acoustically lined with flame retardant acoustic foam.
