AquaTec Heat Interface Unit The AquaTec twin plate HIU is specifically designed to be used where the hot water is required to be instantaneous and is supplied with an integral pump and expansion vessel. Stored hot water or instantaneous systems both have their advantages, however, the stored solution also reduces the need for higher boiler power and also reduces the size of the distribution network and pumps.
