Ahrweilit Filler can also be used outdoors if the relevant undercoats and top coats are applied in short sequence. For filling on wood outdoors, swelling and shrinkage of the wood can generally lead to flaking. For further information see data sheet no. 18 of the German Federal Committee for Paints and the Protection of Objects, Frankfurt (Bundesausschusses Farbe und Sachwertschutz, Frankfurt). Product properties: Water-based, high yield surface filler. Surfaces filled overall can be directly re-coated. Ahrweilit Filler is particularly easy to process. Smoothing with a filling knife after a short initial drying makes sanding almost superfluous. The good condition of the coating is a feature of this filler. Ahrweilit Filler has a long open time so that larger surfaces can also be processed without trouble. Wet-film thickness max. 500 my. We recommend use Jansen Fine Filler Rapid or Jansen Ahrweitex Rapid Filler for the repair of scratches and indentations. Jansen mSTechnical Data Sheet 03/24 Method of processing Substrate preparation: The substrate must be portative, dry, clean and free of separating substances (oil, grease, wax). Apply a priming coat to porous and absorbent substrates beforehand. Rough wood: Depending on substrate absorbency, prime interior wood with Jansen Aqua Ultra-Primer or Jansen Rapid Undercoat. Hardboards must always be primed. Iron: Prime iron surfaces first with Jansen Zinc Dust Paint or Jansen Rust-Stop Primer. Old plaster surfaces always require a suitable priming. Intact old coatings thoroughly sand, damaged old coatings...
