The Lufthansa Aviation Center shows how a very high level of design can be combined with the requirements of structural fire protection. Lufthansa presents itself as a transparent enterprise with an open culture, which puts a lot of emphasis on communication. All this was meant to be expressed in the new Lufthansa Aviation Center. The company Jansen met these requirements with the installation of the telescopic sliding door and was able to convince by the elaborate design of the recess shutter, which so ensure an invisible fire protection. Building the Neue Landesmesse Stuttgart, telescopic sliding doors T90/ EI90 with recess shutters as well as single and double winged sliding doors T30/ EI30 and T90/ EI90 were installed. Furthermore T30/ EI30 AQUISO® roller doors, T30/ EI30 sectional doors and lattice doors were incorporated. With more than 70 delivered fire protection gates and over 900 fire protection doors the Jansen Retail Office South was able to complete one of its largest orders. Telescopic sliding door goes out!

The topic safety and fire protecton were also emphasised in the implementation of the new main train station in Berlin. The scope of service for this project included a total of 20 AQUISO® roller doors T30/ EI30. Apart from the roller doors also four sliding doors T90/ EI90 were installed in the dome by the passages between trains, city trains and underground. The reconstruction of the large multifunctional ESPRIT-Arena was not easy to handle and was reerected with many merits. For the ESPRIT-Arena Jansen delivered 50 fire protection curtains out of steel for the kiosk area, four combination door systems for the diagonal tunnels in the corner areas and a stacking door of an enormous special size with a width of 14 m and a height of 16 m below the northern stand. Reference project: Photo Gallery Lumas, Hamburg The challenge of this project lay in partitioning an old building with small rooms off in terms of fire protection so that as little exhibition space as possible was lost and at the same time an as open, bright and modern design as possible was ensured for the gallery. Therefore double winged T30 RS/ EI30 sliding doors were installed on the two upper floors, which meet in a 90° angle without supports. Reference project: ISAS, Dortmund An extraordinary challenge lay in the planning and installation of an semi-circular smoke protection lifting door with a clear width of almost five metres. For reasons of smoke protection the formerly exactly semi-circular lifting door became a door with eight individual elements. The butt-joints meet precisely. This required wider and narrower cover plates which finally resulted in an exact semi-circular shape.
