Deeply rooted Our history The roots of the Jansen Holding reach back to the year 1981. Back then Dipl. Ing. Ludwig Jansen founded the company Jansen Tore in Surwold, which is still engaged in the manufacturing and the sale of high-quality industrial door systems. From long-standing experience in the manufacturing of doors Ludwig Jansen always was able to set new standards. Thus was a further company, Jansen Brandschutz-Tore, founded in 1999. With the years a modern, medium-sized industrial rm has evolved out of the once workmanlike one-man-operation. The company meanwhile employs more than 230 staff members. Nowadays belong to the Jansen Holding, apart from Jansen Brandschutz and Jansen Tore, the companies Jansen PU-Technik and Jansen Maritim, as well as branch establishments and retail ofces in the entire area of the German Federal Republic. International activities are executed by agents in Austria and Switzerland, as well as the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Poland.

Therefore we train them ourselves and invest in the continuous professional development of our staffmembers.

Firmly connected Our investment into the environment Environmentally conscious thinking and acting are an essential element of our company. Already in 1993 the rst wind power plant was installed and feeds the gained energy into the company. Today two wind power plants and a heat pump facilitate the company.

Also we gain our own electricity for the entire company by means of a newly erected photovoltaic plant. The plant produces a total output of 1,300 kWp from 5,600 modules and so achieves a yearly yield of 1,170,000 kWh. With the gained energy 250 four-person-households could be fed alternatively. The erection of our new plant means for the environment that we save about 700 tons CO2 per year. Jansen is therefore the rst large company in the eld of door systems that has made an investment for the environment on this scale.
