Introduction
JACKODUR fine tolerance boards are designed to meet the demanding technical requirements for using extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) in various fabrication applications. These boards are versatile and can be used in the production of sandwich elements for truck chassis, caravans, trailers, furniture, panels for doors and walls, facades, cooling cells, and exhibition components.

Other Properties: Density is >30 kg/m³, thermal conductivity λD is between 0.035 and 0.037 W/(m.K), working temperature ranges from -50°C to +75°C, and reaction to fire is classified as B1/Euroclass E.

Performance and Durability

Long-term water absorption by total immersion is ≤1.0 Vol-%.
sD-value ranges from 3 to 16 m.
Coefficient of linear thermal expansion is 0.07 mm/(m.K).
Dimensional stability under 70°C and 90% relative humidity is ≤5%.
Chemical resistance includes water, seawater, salt-dilutions, alcohols, liquefied inorganic gases, bases, weak & diluted acids, bitumen, lime, cement, gypsum, and sand.

Material Properties
The XPS is homogeneous with closed cells, pressure-resistant, elastic, hydrophobic, non-rotting, non-aging, and not ultraviolet-consistent. It can be machined with milling cutters, saws, and heated filaments, and adheres well with hotmelt, epoxy, and polyurethane solution adhesives without solvents.

Product Spectrum
Length variations can be manufactured in 10 mm increments, and width variations in 5 mm increments. Board thicknesses of 1/10 mm are available by arrangement.
