Chandelier 2540-10 “First Electrical” The Lobmeyr Historism Family From the collaboration of Ludwig Lobmeyr with Thomas A. Edison this prototype resulted. It is the world’s first representative chandelier making use of electrical light bulbs. As a technical prerequisite this design is first presents hanging light bulbs which resulted in a whole new style of chandeliers. The frame of the chandelier is made of brass in the elaborate kings gold finish. The crystal parts are made from lead-free crystal and highly cut and polished by our master cutters. This item marks the high point of a very prosperous and creative phase in our company history.
