Specifications
Adjustable and fixed pedestals are used for raised paving systems. Adjustable pedestals allow for height adjustments from 10 mm to 270 mm, featuring a noise-damping, anti-slip rubber-coated head. Fixed pedestals are available in three heights (12 mm, 15 mm, 20 mm) for flat substrates.
Procedures
For laying on grass, slabs should be placed dry with consistent gaps. The area should be marked, excavated to a minimum depth of 5 cm, followed by a 3 cm gravel layer. Ensure the substrate is level, then position and stabilize slabs with a rubber hammer.
Standards and Recommendations
Three types of weather-proof recyclable polypropylene pedestals are recommended. Special heads with spacer fins allow for a 3-4 mm joint for rainwater drainage. Removable slabs create cavities for cables and pipes, enhancing thermal and acoustic insulation.
