Technical leaflet VS-W is a ready-to-use, transparent, acrylic, water-based varnish of nano-molecular structure, used for protecting cement substrates (concrete, decorative mortars, etc.) • VS-W brightens up the natural color of the material on which it is applied, and makes the surface slightly glossy. • It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. 24 months from production date, if stored in original, unopened packaging, at temperatures between +5OC and +35OC. Protect from direct sun exposure and frost. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) VS-W brings out the natural color of the material on which it is applied, protecting at the same time the surface from pollution. It is suitable for application on cement substrates, such as decorative cement mortars. It can be applied on walls and floors, both indoors and outdoors. According to the Directive 2004/42/CE (Annex II, table A), the maximum allowed VOC content for the product subcategory i, type WB is 140 g/l (2010) for the ready-to-use product. The ready-to-use product VS-W contains a maximum of 140 g/l VOC. Color: transparent (after drying) 1. Substrate preparation The substrate must be dry, clean, free of grease, loose particles, dust etc. 2. Application VS-W is diluted with water at a ratio of 1:1 by volume and then applied by brush or roller in two layers. The second layer is applied after the first one has dried, approximately after 1 h, depending on the weather conditions. 150-200 ml/m2 per layer, depending on the substrate absorptivity. ISOMAT S.A.
