Product catalog summary
Description
PRIMER-S 165 is an adhesion promoter designed for use on glazed and glass surfaces to ensure excellent adhesion of ISOFLEX-PU 650. It is particularly effective on non-absorbent surfaces such as glazed tiles and glass bricks.
Fields of Application
This product is specifically used to promote adhesion of ISOFLEX-PU 650 on non-absorbent glazed surfaces.
Technical Data
  • Form: Silane-solution
  • Color: Transparent
  • Density: 0.79 ± 0.05 kg/l
Directions for Use
The substrate must be dry, clean, and free of contaminants. Surfaces with moisture must dry completely before application. Use a cloth soaked with the promoter to clean the surface, changing the cloth frequently. Apply the first layer of ISOFLEX-PU 650 20-30 minutes after applying PRIMER-S 165. Avoid using on transparent plastic materials.

Technical Datasheet PRIMER-S 165-1

Technical leaflet PRIMER-S 165 is an adhesion promoter for glazed and glass surfaces. It ensures the excellent adhesion of ISOFLEX-PU 650 when is being applied to glazed ceramic tiles, glass, etc. The PRIMER-S 165 is used as an adhesion promoter for ISOFLEX-PU 650 on nonabsorbent glazed surfaces such as glazed tiles, glass, glass bricks etc. PRIMER-S 165 is supplied in tin buckets of 0.75 kg and 3 kg. 9 months from date of production if stored in original sealed packaging, in areas protected from humidity and direct sun exposure. Recommended storage temperature between +5°C and +35°C. Form: silane-solution Color: transparent • Temperature during the application and hardening of the product should be between +50C and +350C. • In case of application of PRIMER-S 165 on polycarbonate sheets please consult the Technical Support Department. ISOMAT S.A. BUILDING CHEMICALS AND MORTARS MAIN OFFICES - FACTORY: 17th km Thessaloniki - Ag. Athanasios Road, P.O. BOX 1043, 570 03 Ag. The surface is cleaned with a cloth that has been soaked with the promoter. The cloth must be frequently changed. The first layer of ISOFLEX-PU 650 is applied 20-30 min after the application of PRIMER-S 165. The adhesion promoter cleans the surface and increases the bond strength of ISOFLEX-PU 650. PRIMER-S 165 should not be applied on transparent plastic materials (e.g. polycarbonate sheets). Consumption approx. 30-70 g/m2 The technical information and instructions supplied in this datasheet are based on the knowledge and experience of the Department of Research and Development of our company and on results from long-term applications of the product in practice.
