Technical Datasheet ISOMAT DECO COLOR - 1

Technical Leaflet Consumption ISOMAT DECO COLOR pigments are high-quality inorganic pigments, used for coloring mortars and concrete. Ideal for coloring cement mortars. ISOMAT DECO COLOR pigments are used in combination with DUROCRET-DECO and DUROCRET-DECO FINISH cement mortars for the creation of a variety of final shades. They may also be added to any other mortar that needs to be colored, such as FLOWCRET self-leveling mortars or any other mortar or concrete that can be prepared at site. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. Form: pigment in powder form Color: 10 selected colors In order to achieve better mixing, the pigment should be dissolved in the mixing water, before the mortar is added. It is also possible to add the pigment after the mortar has been mixed with the water, but in that case, it should be thoroughly mixed, in order to avoid uneven coloring of the mortar. In large-scale applications, it is preferred to first dissolve the pigment into the water. In addition, the final shade - especially if a light color is selected - will be more easily obtained, if the mortar to be colored is white. The pigments may be combined with one another, as well. There are 96 combinations indicatively recommended and presented in DUROCRET DECO COLOR SYSTEM, with a lot more potential tones available to the end user. It is suggested to either use the dosages specified for the 96 recommended shades or add as many 50g dosages as required, in order to achieve the desired color. In both cases, the ratio is per 25 kg of DUROCRET-DECO or DUROCRET-DECO FINISH. In case more than 10 dosages of 50 g are required, you are advised to contact ISOMAT's Technical Support Department. 250 g plastic containers, which contain 5 x 50g bags of pigment. 12 months from production date, if stored in original unopened packaging, in places protected from moisture and frost. • Temperature during the application should be between +5°C and +30°C . • The tools and mixing water that will be used must be perfectly clean, to avoid color alterations. • The amount of water used in every mix should be exactly the same. • The final shade depends on the thickness of the mortar, the substrate and the environmental conditions. • In order to achieve the desired color, it is highly recommended to first try it under real application conditions and test the final shade, after the mortar has dried.
