Technical leaflet One-component, polyurethane, transparent coating with high penetrating ability. When applied on concrete floors or cement mortars, it seals and dustproofs their surface. ISOMAT BI-120 PU can also be used as a surface hardener for crumbled floorings, in order to increase their strength and wear resistance. Moreover, it eliminates the permeability of floorings and thus makes them easy to clean. Certified with the CE marking as a coating for surface protection of concrete, according to EN 1504-2. ISOMAT BI-120 PU is used on concrete floors or cement mortars, in places such as basements, warehouses, light/medium traffic parking lots etc. Furthermore, it can be used as a protective coating for metal structures. Suitable for indoor use. Walkability: after 24 hours (+20°C) Drying time: 3-4 hours (+23°C, 50% Cleaning of tools: Tools are cleaned with SM-16 special solvent, while ISOMAT BI-120 PU is still fresh. 1. Substrate preparation The surface must be dry and free of dust, grease, dirt etc. For better impregnation of ISOMAT BI-120 PU, the surface should be prepared by grinding and removing the dust. 2. Application ISOMAT BI-120 PU is uniformly applied on the substrate by brush, roller or spraying, until saturation is reached. For very absorptive surfaces, it is usually required to apply a second layer, after the first one has dried. Shelf-life - Storage 12 months from production date, if stored in its original, unopened packaging, at temperatures between +5OC and +35OC. Protect from direct sun exposure and frost.
