The membrane formed is UV-stable, watertight, elastic and has excellent mechanical and chemical strength. Composed of high-quality elastomeric and hydrophobic resins, it features long-lasting transparency and elasticity while offering the following advantages: • Easy and cost-saving application (as it is not required to remove the old substrate (tiles etc.) for waterproofing). • Effective waterproofing and protection (of surfaces with old tile layers, wood, glass bricks, plastic materials, etc.). • Continuous membrane, without seams or joints. • UV-stability. It does not turn yellowish over time. • Resistance to weather conditions (rain, frost). • Resistance to detergents, oils, sea water. • Resistance to pedestrian traffic. Used also as a transparent resin binder for exterior or interior decorative stone carpet floorings. As a resin binder for stone carpet applications, provides high flexibility, making it ideal for applications on balconies and terraces. I. Application as a Transparent Liquid Waterproofing membrane 1. Substrate The substrate must be completely dry, clean, free of grease, loose particles, dust, old paints, etc. Surfaces with trapped moisture (e.g. moisture under tiles) must be left to dry completely prior to the application of ISOFLEX-PU 650. 1.1 Non-porous surfaces (e.g. glazed tiles, glass bricks) should be treated with the special adhesion promoter PRIMER-S 165.
