Product catalog summary
Product Overview
The Kivikko lobby furniture, designed by Henri Halla-aho, offers versatile seating arrangements with pieces of varying shapes and heights. These seats not only provide comfort but also enhance acoustics by isolating sound. Kivikko is an eco-friendly option, utilizing surplus foam plastic waste as raw material, and reintegrating manufacturing waste back into production. Efficient transport is achieved through interlocking pieces that minimize space usage.

Technical Specifications
Kivikko products are made from reconstituted chip foam derived from foam plastic waste. The seating options are available in three heights: high (54 cm), medium-high (40 cm), and low (26 cm). The cushions come in four shapes (A, B, C, and D), with C and D being identical, forming a 1x1 m square. Kivikko is sold in sets to reduce manufacturing waste and avoid storing individual pieces. Six ready-made sets are available in both fabric and leather, with four color options where each shape corresponds to a specific color.

Disposal Instructions
Seats that are no longer in use should primarily be recycled for reuse. If reuse is not feasible, they can be disposed of in facilities for burning municipal waste or taken to a landfill if burnable waste collection is unavailable.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATION 3748 KIVIKKO – LOBBY FURNITURE DESIGN Henri Halla-aho PRODUCT ARGUMENTS The Kivikko pieces of different shapes and heights form a scenic arrangement of seating in the space according to need. The seat cushions also isolate sound thereby improving the acoustics of the space. Kivikko is an ecological choice, since the surplus material generated by the waste and cut‐off pieces of foam plastic products is used as the raw material. The waste generated in the manufacture of the product is also returned back to the manufacturing process as raw material. Product transport is efficient, as the pieces interlock tightly to one another taking up little space during transport. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS The material used in the Kivikko products is reconstituted chip foam that is manufactured by chipping the waste and cut‐off pieces of foam plastic products (see photos of the manufacturing process on page 3). The Kivikko seats come in three heights: high (54 cm), medium‐high (40 cm) and low (26 cm). The seat cushions are available in the shapes A, B, C and D (C and D are identical). The four shapes form a square sized 1x1 m.
