Electronic Wash troughs Technical Specification Data AN ELECTRONIC PASSIVE DETECTION SYSTEM COMBINED WITH A STURDY STAINLESS STEEL WASH TROUGH Technical Description THE ELECTRONIC WASH TROUGH with no-touch control is equipped with a passive detection system. This system, powered by a 10,8 V lithium battery pack, only reacts to temperature radiated by human hands in a 3-dimensional detection field. Accordingly, neither skin colour nor darkness, daylight, noise or objects can disturb the operation. The micro-processor controls the opening and closing of the solenoid valve. Water flows for a minimum of 8 seconds and continues for as long as hands remain present in the detection field. After a continued absence of any detection for 3 seconds, the valve closes. This sytem provides optimum user convenience. A special circuit controls the voltage-level of the battery: in case of insufficient DC power the valve will close and the water will stop flowing. The electronic wash trough, available for wall hung or freestanding installation (on supporting legs), is manufactured from stainless steel type 304. The front and rear edges of the basin are sloped and the bottom is pressformed, thus assuring a proper draining of the water. A locked connection-box, installed underneath the troughs, contains all electronic components ant the water distribution system. For central units, the connection boxes are factory installed on the supporting legs. The water flow is restricted to 6 l/min by an automatic flow control nozzle. Water flows for a minimum of 8 seconds and continues for as long as hands remain present in the detection field. In between 2 cycles of water flow, an interval of 2 seconds prevents system abuse. The electronic wash trough is manufactured from stainless steel type 304. The supporting legs of the freestanding models are manufactured from zinc coated steel, with a black epoxy finish. The front and rear edges of the basin are sloped and the bottom is pressformed. Total width is 420 mm, total height is 370 mm. The depth of the basin is 125 mm. The electronic wash trough is equipped with a connection-box that contains all electronic components and the water distribution system. INTERSAN N.V.
