Designer Background
Giancarlo Vegni, born in 1949, trained at Cascina’s art school and worked with Ferretti Cucine from 1968 to 1975. He founded Vegni Design, a professional design studio known for clean lines, modular geometric forms, and a preference for round shapes. His notable achievements include the first round function block in kitchen history (Misura collection, 1988) and the "Duetto" oven selected for the Compasso d’oro (1991). Vegni Design is recognized globally for its refined Italian style.
