Giancarlo Vegni, born in 1949, trained at the Cascina Art Institute. He worked with Ferretti Cucine from 1968 to 1975. He founded Vegni Design, marking the start of a distinguished career with notable collaborations, awards, and achievements. Key milestones include designing the first round function block in kitchen history with the Misura collection by Effeti Cucine (1988) and the "Duetto" oven by Officine Star, which was selected for the Compasso d’oro competition (1991).
