Description and use VEGAS is a decorative Stucco with glossy metallic effect for interiors, with excellent reflectivity, that gives the wall surface an aesthetic mirror effect. Easy to apply using a spatula and easy to work with, it can be used as a finish to decorate flat surfaces or architectural details such as cornices and columns. The product is compliant with Directive 2004/42/CE-IIA(l) maximum VOC limit value: 200 g/l (2010) Application note Substrate preparation : The underlying surface must be seasoned, non chalking and clean (no grease, oil or other polluting agents). Wherever there are damaged surfaces, remove any efflorescence and non-adhering old paints. In case of mould or algae growth, carry out a treatment with DECISO code 0610, wash the wall and, when it is completely dry, apply RENOVO code 0600. Fill and rub down holes, cracks and crackles with IMPASTUK UNIVERSAL EXTRA code 0401, or else IMPASTUK POLVERE code 0410 or IMPASTUK POLVERE EXTRA code 0418. On new, powdery or highly absorbing plaster, on fillings or old flaking paints, apply one layer of masonry fixative to make uniform the substrate absorption. Our suitable products are POLY VA code 0003 or POLY ACRYL code 0004, or else SUPERFIX code 0010, properly reduced. Once dried, continue applying two layers of KALLE code 0406 and finish with one layer of VEGAS. After about 12 hours, sand down with fine-grained paper and remove the dust thoroughly. To finish, apply one layer of VEGAS overlaying the knife strokes, working with a more or less wide spatula, according to the desired effect.
