Pigmented water-reducible fixative 30/06/14 Description and use Pigmented water-thinnable acrylic fixative with excellent impregnating power, recommended for the treatment of mural surfaces indoors and out, particularly for the preparation of plasterboard. It is suitable to be applied on plasters, new or painted, made up of lime and on any cement-based plaster in general. The product can be coloured using the ADVANCE HT tinting system. The product is compliant with Directive 2004/42/CE-IIA(h) maximum VOC limit value: 30 g/l (2010) Application note Substrate preparation The underlying surface must be seasoned, noncrumbling and clean (no grease, oil or other polluting agents). Remove any efflorescence and non-adhering old paints. In case of mould or algae growth, carry out a treatment with DECISO code 0610, wash the wall and, when it is completely dry, apply RENOVO code 0600. On plaster, level any unevenness with IMPA RAS code 0542, and allow the treated areas to rest. Indoors, fill and rub down holes, cracks and crackles with IMPASTUK UNIVERSAL EXTRA code 0401, or else IMPASTUK POLVERE code 0410 or IMPASTUK POLVERE EXTRA code 0418. Once the substrate is dried, apply GREY FIX properly diluted. Product preparation Mix to achieve even colour and consistency. Surface and ambient temperature must be above + 5 (41°F) and below 35°C (95°F) BEWARE OF FROST. Store the product between + 5 and 35°C.
