STUCCO SINTETICO One-pack knife putty 26/08/09 Description and use One-pack putty filler based on alkyd resins, easy to sand, featuring excellent adhesion and good filling power. Suitable to be applied on wood, chip board panels and previously primed metals. Recommended to fill up small holes, cracks, surface defects. It can be overcoated with synthetic enamels for wood or metal. Substrate preparation Surfaces to be filled must be dry, clean and dust free; carry out a slight sanding in order to obtain a better adhesion. Possible traces of resin, wax or wood shining products must be removed by washing with solvent or by sanding. Application method - spatula (blade) Product is ready-to-use. If necessary, thin down with little quantity of DILUENTE SINTETICO (synthetic thinner) code 1603. Dust free Touch dry just after sanding, using any kind of synthetic paint. Application note To use correctly, apply by spatula in thin layers and making a light pressure, in order to push the filler into porosities. Do not apply thick coats in one time: when necessary, apply several subsequent thin layers, allowing some hours between them.
