Introducing RoofGard-Cool Grey A new superior underlayment from the roofing experts at IKO. IKO’s new RoofGard-Cool Grey’s dimpled surface provides slip-resistant traction. Roofers can safely walk on it during installation. And since it’s grey instead of black, it absorbs less of the sun’s radiant heat.This makes it much more comfortable for your installers in hot weather, keeping the air temperature above the roof deck cooler. RoofGard-Cool Grey is also lighter in weight. One roll still covers 1000 square feet, but it’s 9 mils thick and weighs just 25 lb.
